Spring Lace Crafts to Make You “Hoppy”

If you’re eager to spring into a new season, consider doing a craft project to lift your springtime spirits! We highlighted two of our favorite lace-centric crafts that will warm you up in no time.

Lace Flower

“Adventures of a DIY Mom” has a lace flower craft tutorial that is simple and easy to follow. The final product will leave you with a pretty lace flower that can be worn as a pin, added on to other craft projects to enhance them, or to simply dress up an empty end table. You’ll need to start with about ten inches of lace, about 1 ½ inches thick. You’ll also need a hot glue gun and a pretty button of your choice. Lace Heaven has plenty of buttons to choose from.

Using the glue gun, you’ll need to fold the rough edge of the lace underneath to make a seam. Next, arrange the lace around a small circle, folding and ruching the lace and securing it with the glue gun. When you reach the end of your ten inches, fold the edges under and secure with glue. To finish, glue a button of your choosing to the center.

Lace Bunny Ears

Easter will be here before you know it, and if you’re planning a party with friends or family to celebrate the holiday, you might want to check out this craft from Bespoke-Bride which explains how to create a pair of DIY lace bunny ears! (Especially great if you have little one coming!)

If you’re planning a spring wedding, these can be fun for pictures and make a great gift for your bridal party.

To create this, you’ll need a stiff headband, wire, fake flowers, a glue gun, and the lace fabric of your choice from Lace Heaven.

To start, cover the headband in lace or plain white fabric, using your glue gun to secure the fabric to the headband. Next, use the wire to shape two bunny ears, wrapping them in white fabric, and twist the ends together at the bottom. Use the glue gun to affix the lace to the bunny ears by gluing it to the edges of the wire. After you’re done, fasten the bunny ears onto the headband with the leftover wire and add fake flowers where you’d like them!
